Back in barn, is discussing the feed supply situation with a groom when horse again spooks as Dave walks up. Eric again settles horse down. Dave theorizes that someone has been terrorizing the horse with a broom. Dave and Eric go into the stall to talk quietly. Eric tells Dave about the loss of his parents to the Gestapo. The scene is quite intense as Robert manages to convey a coldly furious anger while retaining his German accent.
