Mr. Adams' daughter was injured by a hit and run motorcycle.  Though the doctors think she'll be fine if she works with them, she's having trouble believing them and/trying to get better.  Her parents are very thankful to Ponch for helping her and are worried about and frustrated with their daughter.  Daughter comes around by end, of course. <g>
